To raise awareness of Western Union services within the ethnic community across the UK, through the use a series of engagements.
A consistency and professionalism service
We have worked with The Promota team since 2005; they have provided marketing and brand awareness campaign for Western Union and in many areas and to name a few – and ensuring improved communications with the ethnic market.
Despite of Western Union global growth, Africa was not growing and Western Union wanted to raise its profile to targeted African community in the UK that include: Uganda, South Africa, Botswana, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Zambia and many others.
A multi-faceted approach was devised by engaging the targeted market in their own communities deploying community leaders, brand ambassadors and Promota community experts.
We decided a guerrilla and grass-root marketing campaigns which included recruiting community consultants, sign-up community shops as Western union agents…
In just over a month, we reached out to more than 20,000 Africans through community events. Within a year we had reached our target of 255 growth. We retained the contract for 7 years.
We are proud to say that we were exclusively selected to work with Western Union for over 6 years now and here you can find a sample of the many campaigns we have executed on behalf of Western Union. We managed community engagements and marketing activations for the African corridor in UK and Nordic.
